A Participatory Arts, Craft

and Design Project

The project idea was developed throughout 2020 with invitations to researchers and online meetings to define lines of research and participatory action.

Project implementation started in January 2021.

"The creators of textile maps observe the places, inquire about their history, search for signs, meanings, alternatives. And they represent the stories using fabrics, threads, ropes, wool, etc. with sewing or weaving techniques. ​To realize climate justice, the human voice must be heard. Textile cartography is a way to tell stories, express ideas, draw attention, talk about eARTh, Maps reinvented with fabrics and threads. "

A wide range of articles covering all kinds of topics, including #ecoactivism, reproductive justice, eating disorders, social justice, and more.

With the aim of affirming the resilience of art

during the difficult period

and in preparing for the future,

Motile art launched an online platform,

which, among other things,

consisted of a series of global virtual support

for the cultural world throughout the crisis.

It was their 2nd international online exhibition

with ample success.

One of my paintings appears on the "Sick Pike." 

Sick Pike was part of the official selection in the film festival Cannes 2022.

Written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli.
